idfive is a digital communications company located in Baltimore, Maryland. While it’s tempting to define us as an “interactive advertising agency” or a “Web development company” or even an “online strategy consultancy,” the truth is that we’re all that...and a lot more. We believe effective communications shouldn’t be based on a particular tactic but on where your customers and prospects are spending their time. History
idfive began in December of 2005. But while our company might be relatively young, our people don’t lack for experience. Our principles have over 60 years of combined experience in the interactive world and have won awards that range from the Webby (considered to be the “Academy Award of the Web”) to the One Show, New York Art Directors Club awards, and numerous Addys. We’ve all spent years at bigger agencies and have owned our own businesses and know what it takes to watch the bottom line while still maintaining a big vision.
Philosophy
Here at idfive, we base all that we do on the principle of “informed design”-- an approach that says that understanding the customer, prospect, and company we’re working for comes first. Our Web360™ process allows us to take a look at an existing Web site from every angle-- the audience, their transactions with our clients, the content they view on their Web sites, the technical infrastructure behind the site, and the usability features that allow them to interact with the site-- and combine that knowledge into a full understanding of brand experience and effective communications techniques. Unlike other “Web shops” that approach each Web site as a technological problem, our informed design methodology allows us to approach each Web site and advertising project for what it is: a way of connecting company to customer.
