PaperThin Teams Up With E-Zone Media To Offer Discussion Forum And Banner Ad Capabilities
Boston, MA (October 22, 2001) — PaperThin, Inc., a leader in Web publishing and content management solutions for organizations of all sizes, today announced an agreement to integrate FuseTalk, a ColdFusion(R) based discussion forum, and FuseAds, a robust ad management application, both developed by e-Zone Media, Inc.
FuseTalk is a powerful, fully scalable forums package that allows people to interact in a common discussion area. This complete database-driven application ensures stability, speed and ease of use for discussion environments. FuseAds is a banner rotation solution that allows organizations to properly track and report on Web site banners and advertising campaigns. Since both FuseTalk and FuseAds are fully customizable, customers can implement solutions that meet their unique requirements with these products.
PaperThin had been using FuseTalk discussion forums to manage developer and customer discussion forums on its Internet site. “We were impressed with the functionality of E-Zone’s products, and realized that there was a great opportunity to integrate their cutting-edge technology with our content management solution,” noted Todd Peters, President of PaperThin, Inc. “Discussion forums can be an excellent resource for interacting with both internal and external customers, colleagues, and others. And with FuseAds, organizations can easily implement and track banner campaigns. These features can add immediate value to any Web site.”
CommonSpot Content Server is a full-featured, completely browser-based, out-of-the box Web publishing and dynamic content management solution. Content producers within an organization are able to easily participate in the efficient creation, management and delivery of Web content, without the help of a Webmaster and without having to know HTML. Developers recognize the benefits of CommonSpot's open and extensible architecture, enabling them to code and seamlessly integrate custom ColdFusion, Web, e-commerce and other applications. CommonSpot powers Internet, intranet and extranet sites throughout Europe, Australia, and the Americas for companies such as Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority, Biogen, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Car Fax, Fireman's Fund Insurance, Gillette, MotorcycleWorld.com, Pfizer, Real Media, and TRW.
“We are delighted to be working with PaperThin,” commented Jason Clark, CEO of e-Zone Media, Inc. “There is a tremendous synergy between our products, and we believe PaperThin is well positioned to market both FuseTalk and FuseAds with CommonSpot, as part of a complete content management solution. We are looking forward to working together.”
PaperThin will begin marketing FuseTalk and FuseAds as companion offerings to CommonSpot(T) Content Server beginning in the fourth quarter of 2001, both directly and through its channel partners.
