PaperThin Announces CommonSpot Content Server 3.2

CMS Vendor Delivers More than Two Dozen Performance and Feature Enhancements in Latest Release

Boston, MA (February 7, 2003) -- PaperThin, Inc., a leading mid-market content management system vendor, today announced the release of CommonSpot Content Server 3.2, a full-featured, browser-based Web publishing and dynamic content management solution (CMS). This latest release introduces performance enhancements, as well as additional capabilities designed to allow non-technical staff to more easily create and publish content for dynamic Web sites.

Out of the box, CommonSpot provides more than 50 standard features. Organizations continue to demand a rapid return on technology investment, making CommonSpot an attractive solution, since it can be deployed quickly and affordably, without requiring extensive customization. As the volume of content on a site grows over time, non-technical contributors need to be able to efficiently locate content for editing and publishing. Version 3.2 introduces several enhancements designed to allow authors to find and edit content more easily. Enhancements were also introduced to the CommonSpot administrator, as well as to the pop-up menu feature, the rich text editor, and the document upload facility. In all, more than 24 product enhancements were included in this release.

“CommonSpot is designed with non-technical staff in mind,” said Todd Peters, president of PaperThin, Inc. “We are always looking for ways to make their jobs easier, and in this release, incorporating feedback from our customers, we’ve added several enhancements to make the authoring process more efficient.”
