Channel Manager

Innovative and growing Quincy, MA based Web Content Management software vendor PaperThin Inc. (www.paperthin.com) is looking for an experienced, results-oriented channel manager to help expand and manage our partner channel, drive channel sales, and help to continue our steady growth. You will be part of our sales and marketing team responsible for; expanding our partner portfolio, enhancing current partner interaction, and building and managing an active pipeline – facilitating sales interactions with PaperThin’s sales team and channel partners.

Responsibilities:

• Exceed channel expansion quota
• Exceed channel sales quota
• Develop and execute a channel sales plan
• Develop an active partner and sales pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Deliver on line and on site product demonstrations
• Travel, as needed, to industry events, prospect and partner sites

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience building and managing revenue
generating partner channels for an application software vendor
• Demonstrated history of exceeding channel sales goals
• Demonstrated history of successfully facilitating interaction between channel partners and direct sales teams
• Success using Solution Selling or Strategic Selling sales methodologies is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of and practical experience with Web Development or Content Management is strongly preferred
• Excellent problem solving skills in a fast-paced technical environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-oriented environment
• BA or BS degree
